My client is a market leader in the Fintech space, looking for a Head of Software Engineering to lead their Software Development teams to elevate their software engineering capabilities, instil a culture of continuous improvement and innovate their Digital Solutions offering. You will be experienced in Thought Leadership, Strategy Development, Stakeholder Engagement and be well versed operating within the Fintech and/or Banking space with a successful track record in heading up a broad engineering capability across Software Development, Cloud Architecture, Data, Mobile and Web Development.

Head of Software Engineering - Experience required:

• Significant experience in engineering leadership covering multiple cross-functional engineering teams.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of software development principles with solid experience across a broad range of languages including Java, .NET, Node, Databases, Containerisation etc.
• Ability to remain deep in the technology across software and cloud architecture with the ability to conduct code review and have technical discussions with the development team and wider senior stakeholders.
• Strong Stakeholder Management experience and a solid Commercial mindset.
